The Jagannath Temple, Kotia is a revered shrine located in the remote Kotia region of Koraput district. Now adding to its beauty , the wheel of the chariot of Mother Goddess Subhadra in Rath yatra at Puri was installed in the temple premises . Its hoped that in addition to promotion of the Universal Truth through Jagannath Culture in the region the temple would bring peace and establish harmony in the region .
