Anti-Corruption Awareness Week and National Unity Day Observed in Koraput

Koraput – October 31, 2026: An awareness procession was organized in Koraput today to mark ‘Anti-Corruption Awareness Week–2026’ and ‘National Unity Day’ (observed on the birth anniversary of the ‘Iron Man’, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel). Additional District Collector, Shri Tapan Kumar Naik, flagged off the procession from the premises of the Koraput District Collector’s office. The procession set off from there and reached the Sadbhavana Hall.

Members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under 'Mission Shakti' from Koraput district, NCC cadets, residents of sports hostels, and students from various schools and colleges participated in this procession.

Following the procession, a floral tribute was paid to the 'Iron Man', Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, by garlanding his portrait at the Sadbhavana Hall. On this occasion, the immortal words of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel were also recalled. Subsequently, on the occasion of National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas), an oath was administered to the officials, staff, students, and other participants present, pledging to uphold the nation's unity and integrity.

Additionally, under the chairmanship of District Collector Shri Manoj Satyawan Mahajan, a programme was organized wherein an oath regarding anti-corruption awareness was taken. All the officials and staff present pledged to remain vigilant against corruption, maintain transparency, honesty, and integrity in administrative functions, and discharge their responsibilities and duties with utmost dedication. On this occasion, prizes and certificates were presented by the distinguished guests to the successful participants who excelled in various competitions organized as part of 'Anti-Corruption Awareness Week'.

The event was attended by, among others, Shri Manoj Acharya, representative of the Koraput Member of Parliament, and the Superintendent of Police (Vigilance), Jeypore, S. Koraput Superintendent of Police Mr. Rohit Sharma, Additional District Magistrate Mr. Tapan Kumar Naik, Chief Development Officer of the Zilla Parishad Mr. Benudhar Sabar, Project Administrator (PA) of ITDA Koraput Mrs. Snehaprabha Majhi, Project Administrator (PA) of ITDA Jeypore Mrs. Trupti Barai, Koraput District Sports Officer Mr. Naresh Jani, DSP of the Vigilance Department Mr. Abhaya Kumar Pradhan, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Ananta Prasad Mallick, District Information and Public Relations Officer (Koraput) Mrs. Yashoda Gadaba, and Sub-divisional Information and Public Relations Officer Mrs. Radharani Sarkar. Steno Shri Abhaya Mahapatra, all staff members of the Anti-Corruption Department based in Jeypore, as well as officials from various district departments and media representatives, were present.

ଦୁର୍ନୀତି ନିବାରଣ ସଚେତନତା ସପ୍ତାହ–୨୦୨୬ ଏବଂ ଲୌହମାନବ ସର୍ଦ୍ଦାର ବଲ୍ଲଭଭାଇ ପଟେଲଙ୍କ ଜୟନ୍ତୀ ଅବସରରେ ପାଳିତ ଜାତୀୟ ଏକତା ଦିବସ ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ଆଜି କୋରାପୁଟଠାରେ ଏକ ସଚେତନତା ଶୋଭାଯାତ୍ରା ଆୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଶ୍ରୀ ତପନ କୁମାର ନାଏକ କୋରାପୁଟ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ପରିସରରୁ ଏହି ଶୋଭାଯାତ୍ରାର ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ। ଶୋଭାଯାତ୍ରାଟି ସେଠାରୁ ବାହାରି ସଦ୍‌ଭାବନା ସଭାଗୃହଠାରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଥିଲା।

ଏହି ଶୋଭାଯାତ୍ରାରେ କୋରାପୁଟ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ମିଶନ ଶକ୍ତି ଅଧୀନସ୍ଥ ସ୍ୱୟଂ ସହାୟକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ସଦସ୍ୟାମାନେ, ଏନ୍‌ସିସି କ୍ୟାଡେଟ୍‌, କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଛାତ୍ରାବାସର ଅନ୍ତେବାସୀ ତଥା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଯୋଗଦେଇଥିଲେ।

ଶୋଭାଯାତ୍ରା ପରେ ସଦ୍‌ଭାବନା ସଭାଗୃହଠାରେ ଲୌହମାନବ ସର୍ଦ୍ଦାର ବଲ୍ଲଭଭାଇ ପଟେଲଙ୍କ ଫଟୋଚିତ୍ରରେ ପୁଷ୍ପମାଲ୍ୟ ଅର୍ପଣ ପୂର୍ବକ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ସର୍ଦ୍ଦାର ବଲ୍ଲଭଭାଇ ପଟେଲଙ୍କ ଅମର ବାଣୀକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ।

ଏହାପରେ ଜାତୀୟ ଏକତା ଦିବସ ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ପଦାଧିକାରୀ, କର୍ମଚାରୀ, ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଜାତୀୟ ଏକତା ଓ ଅଖଣ୍ଡତା ରକ୍ଷା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶପଥ ପାଠ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।

ଏଥିସହିତ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଶ୍ରୀ ମନୋଜ ସତ୍ୟୱାନ ମହାଜନଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଦୁର୍ନୀତି ନିବାରଣ ସମ୍ପର୍କିତ ସଚେତନତା ଶପଥ ପାଠ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏଥିରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଓ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ଦୁର୍ନୀତି ବିରୋଧରେ ସଚେତନ ରହିବା ସହିତ ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା, ସାଧୁତା ଓ ସତ୍ୟନିଷ୍ଠା ବଜାୟ ରଖିବା ଏବଂ ନିଜ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ଓ କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟକୁ ନିଷ୍ଠାର ସହ ନିର୍ବାହ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶପଥ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ।

ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଦୁର୍ନୀତି ନିବାରଣ ସଚେତନତା ସପ୍ତାହ ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତାରେ କୃତିତ୍ୱ ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଥିବା କୃତୀ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାନ୍ୟବର ଅତିଥିମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପୁରସ୍କାର ଓ ପ୍ରମାଣପତ୍ର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।

ଉକ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ କୋରାପୁଟ ସାଂସଦଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ଶ୍ରୀ ମନୋଜ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟ, ଜୟପୁର ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଆରକ୍ଷୀ ଅଧୀକ୍ଷକ ଏସ୍. ସୁଶ୍ରୀ, କୋରାପୁଟ ଆରକ୍ଷୀ ଅଧୀକ୍ଷକ ଶ୍ରୀ ରୋହିତ ଶର୍ମା, ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଶ୍ରୀ ତପନ କୁମାର ନାଏକ, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପରିଷଦର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଉନ୍ନୟନ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ବେଣୁଧର ସବର, କୋରାପୁଟ ପିଏ ଆଇଟିଡିଏ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ସ୍ନେହପ୍ରଭା ମାଝୀ, ଜୟପୁର ପିଏ ଆଇଟିଡିଏ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ତୃପ୍ତି ବାରାଇ ଏବଂ କୋରାପୁଟ ଜିଲ୍ଲା କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଅଧିକାରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେଶ ଜାନୀ ଡିଏସ୍‌ପି, ଦୁର୍ନୀତି ନିବାରଣ ବିଭାଗ ଶ୍ରୀ ଅଭୟ କୁମାର ପ୍ରଧାନ, ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଆରକ୍ଷୀ ଅଧୀକ୍ଷକ ଶ୍ରୀ ଅନନ୍ତ ପ୍ରସାଦ ମଲ୍ଲିକ, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ସୂଚନା ଓ ଲୋକସମ୍ପର୍କ ଅଧିକାରୀ, କୋରାପୁଟ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଯଶୋଦା ଗାଦବା ଏବଂ ଉପଖଣ୍ଡ ସୂଚନା ଓ ଲୋକସମ୍ପର୍କ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ରାଧାରାଣୀ ସରକାର। ଷ୍ଟେନୋ ଶ୍ରୀ ଅଭୟ ମହାପାତ୍ର ଏବଂ ଜୟପୁରସ୍ଥିତ ଦୁର୍ନୀତି ନିବାରଣ ବିଭାଗର ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ସମେତ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବିଭାଗର ପଦାଧିକାରୀ ଓ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମ ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।
