Cyclone Arnav : Update : Wind and Light Rain in Koraput District since morning of 27th October
Light rain in Narayanpatna , Bandhugaon and Pottangi blocks of koraput district have begun since morning today . Sky is cloudy in Koraput district headquarter while Cloud and light wind is felt at Nandapur . Wind speed is little higher in Kotia and Deomali region , sources said .
According to IMD :
Very Severe Cyclonic Storm ā#Arnabā has intensified over the west-central Bay of Bengal and is moving west-northwestwards.
The cyclone is expected to cross the #AndhraPradesh and Yanam coasts, near Yanam between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam, by the forenoon of October 28, 2026.
Winds are likely to reach 115ā125 kmph, with gusts up to 140 kmph. A red alert has been issued for the Andhra Pradesh coast and adjoining areas of south #Odisha.
