Cyclone Shelter House for affected Families are made Ready in Koraput district : Cyclone Arnav

As a part of the preparation to face the Cyclone Arnav , Koraput district administration has opened Cyclone Shelters in different flood prone areas of the district and sensitisation drive had been launched .

In addition to that the Koraput–Ranigada–Borigumma Road has been closed to traffic as a preventive safety measure in view of the ensuing cyclone, considering the landslide that occurred during September due to Cyclone ARNAB and heavy rainfall. Bamboo barricading has been done at both ends of the ghat portion to restrict vehicular movement and ensure public safety. An alternate route map has also been shared .
