Successful Surgery at SLNMCH , Koraput : Congratulations to the team of Doctors !
According to H &FW Dept.of odisha Posting in X today : A complex medical procedure has been successfully performed at the Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital (SLNMCH) in Koraput.
A 'retropharyngeal abscess' (a collection of pus at the back of the throat)—caused by a fish bone piercing the patient's throat—was successfully treated in the ENT operation theatre using the incision and drainage method.
Additionally, when the patient's heart rate dropped to 32–40 beats per minute, the situation was successfully managed thanks to the prompt action of the anesthesia team.
