Traditional Dance by Girls with a Cloth that Lasts for More than 100 Years !

Traditional dance by Girls of Gadaba community while taking part in Jangal Katha festival at Koraput today. The programme is organised by SPREAD & FES . Its interesting to know that the cloth that the young girls are wearing lasts for more than 100-150 years . The fabric is been made of a thread drawn from the plant called as Kereng . It takes at least a month to make one piece of cloth . This is the art preserved by Gadaba community of Koraput district for generations .
