Update on Low Pressure Movement over Bay of Bengal
According to Ankan Mohanty in Cyclone news : Bay of Bengal : The system is moving very slow - this could be due to the steering winds (the SW monsoon winds still active) , which is opposing the forward movement of this system.
Slow moving systems would cause a lot of rain over a longer period of time .
