As per this report published in The Sambad Odia Daily the 108 Ambulance service wont be available for the patients in places with more than 30 kms distance from the Ambulance Station Point .
Our Opinion : Government should reconsider this decision as it would affect the service to grassroots especially in places like Koraput district . Further the ambulance driver would find it difficult to measure if it was 28 kms or 30 Kms .
